What Are Attempts to Artificially Inflate Reviews?
Attempts to artificially inflate reviews involve knowingly submitting fraudulent reviews or reviews with a hidden conflict of interest to boost a service provider’s Clutch ranking.
We do not allow service providers to boost their Clutch ranking through submitting falsified information or reviews with a hidden conflict of interest.
In those cases, we suspend the vendor’s access to their Clutch accounts for a set period of time. We also include a banner in the vendor’s profile description to inform buyers of recent attempts.
