What is the Pay Per Lead (PPL) program?
In the PPL program, buyers describe their project needs and are instantly introduced to the best-fit service providers on Clutch.
Step 1: Prospective Leads Submit Their Information and Project Goal
Buyers looking for service providers submit their project proposals through our dedicated forms and Project Brief experiences.
Step 2: Clutch Identifies Matches for the Project
Clutch assesses the lead’s requirements and legitimacy. Clutch creates a shortlist of up to five service providers that may be a good fit for the project. Companies are matched based on their bid amount and targeting criteria (if applicable), their services, and their organic rankings on Clutch.
Step 3: Connect
The lead is shown their matches and is encouraged to reach out to the providers. The providers are also immediately notified of the match and encouraged to reach out to the buyer. Leads delivered via Project Brief are contactable in the Dashboard, and all leads provide their email address to be contacted directly.
Pay Per Lead Eligibility Requirements
All companies on Clutch are considered as potential matches for each buyer's project requirements; however, priority is given to active Pay Per Lead customers. Pay Per Lead customers have active campaigns targeting certain types of leads.
To be eligible to participate as an active bidder in Pay Per Lead, providers must first:
- Have an active Clutch Verified subscription or active advertising (eg. sponsorship, featured listings, etc.)
- Be Verified or Premier Verified
- Have the given Service Line on their profile
