While no “Verified” badge will appear on their profile, Companies that are ineligible for Clutch Verified may retain access to the additional features of Clutch Verified.
As a Clutch Verified customer, you receive access to:
- White-glove service for review collection, including Clutch's phone review process
- Additional fields on your profile to showcase your capabilities, like the ability to select a featured review
- Profile differentiation, removing companies with similar capabilities from your profile
Businesses that fail Clutch’s verification guidelines may choose to take one of the three following steps:
- Retain Clutch Verified and keep the features mentioned above
- Request a partial refund
- Partner with Creditsafe to improve
Retain access to Clutch Verified benefits
Businesses that wish to retain access to the Clutch Verified benefits do not need to take additional action.
Request a Partial Refund
If you would prefer to request a partial refund due to your ineligibility for Clutch Verification, you may do so using this form.
For each investigation into your business's standing, Clutch incurs a fee. As a result, refunds are issued minus an investigation fee of $85 and must be requested within 30 days of notification that your business does not meet Clutch verification requirements.

Clutch works with Creditsafe to aggregate business registration and credit history information, following set criteria to verify businesses in good standing. If you have already worked with Creditsafe to make improvements to your credit score, you may request that Clutch run an additional investigation into your credit history. Please note: this may require a one-time $85 charge for the additional investigation.
