Can My Client Choose to Remain Anonymous When Leaving a Review?

Yes – while we do require that they provide their name and company name for verification purposes, they can select to keep this information confidential and hidden from public display on the review.

The client can select from the four attribution options:

  • Attributed – Both the client’s full name and company are visible on the review.
  • Anonymous – Neither the client’s name nor their company will be shown.
  • Personally Attributed, Company Anonymous – The client’s name is visible, but their company is not displayed.
  • Personally Anonymous, Company Attributed – The client’s company is visible, but their personal name is hidden.

This gives your clients the flexibility to share honest feedback while deciding how their information is displayed. If a client wants to change their attribution after the review is published, they must contact us with a link to their review to request an update.

Regardless of your client's choice, we will not publish any contact details.

NOTE: Only the client (reviewer) can request an attribution change. Clutch cannot make updates at your request as the service provider.
