FAQs

What does the competition selection criteria include?

Any exciting, engaging or impactful work that has been completed within the last year is eligible to be considered for Best of Clutch! We only accept one entry per provider per award: one for Best of Web Design/Development, and one for Best of Digital Marketing. In the event there are two submissions by the same provider, only the first submission will be counted. Providers must also have a confirmed presence in the region in which they select, and all submissions must be included as a portfolio item on your Clutch profile. All entries will require an image and description of the project.

Is there a rule against submitting unoriginal work?

Entries that are fake or plagiarized will not be eligible for judging. This is important specifically as it applies to spec work (work not commissioned or paid for by a client or media entity) that you may consider entering in the digital marketing category.

What is considered unacceptable material?

Entries that contain pornographic material, propagate “hate” messages, make defamatory statements, or that are otherwise extraordinarily offensive are ineligible to win a Best of Clutch award.

Can I be disqualified?

Ineligible entries may be disqualified at any phase of the competition without notification.

What are your terms and conditions of entry/usage?

The Best of Clutch competition assumes all entries are original and the entrant either owns the work or has permission from a client or other appropriate party to enter the work, with all rights granted therein. In the event that an entrant without such rights submits an entry, the entrant will not be eligible for the competition. Clutch is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant.
