Does My Client Need to Log In to Clutch Using LinkedIn?
All Clutch users are required to sign in either through LinkedIn, Google or with their company email address. This process helps us verify that company profiles and client reviews are submitted by real people.
LinkedIn is one option for sign-in and provides additional verification to confirm reviewer authenticity.
To help verify client reviews and prevent conflicts of interest, Clutch uses LinkedIn to authenticate clients. When clients sign in via LinkedIn, we collect their:
- First name
- Last name
- Headshot from LinkedIn
This information allows us to verify and accurately attribute reviews, maintaining the integrity of our research.
Privacy: A reviewer’s name will not be shared externally without their consent. Their email and headshot will never be displayed publicly. Clients who wish to remain anonymous can choose this option when submitting a review.
TIP: If your client prefers, they can also submit a review by signing in with a Google account or by using their company email address to create a password.
