My Client Can't Publicly Endorse My Business – Can They Still Leave a Review?

Yes — your client can still leave a review, even if they can’t publicly endorse your business.

During the review process, your client will be asked whether they’d like to remain anonymous or attribute their comments. This ensures they have full control over how their information appears on their review.

Attribution Options for Reviews

Your client can choose from four attribution options:

  1. Attributed – Both the client’s full name and company are visible on the review.
  2. Anonymous – Neither the client’s name nor their company will be shown.
  3. Personally Attributed, Company Anonymous – The client’s name is visible, but their company is not displayed.
  4. Personally Anonymous, Company Attributed – The client’s company is visible, but their personal name is hidden.

NOTE: Only the client (reviewer) can request an attribution change. Clutch cannot make updates at your request as the service provider.
