Only providers who are Clutch Verified can carry the badge. Most providers on Clutch don't qualify, which is what makes it a meaningful signal when you see it.

How do I know which providers offer the Guarantee?

Look for the Clutch Guarantee badge on a provider's profile. It means that the provider has met our verification requirements and committed to backing new engagements with the 14-day refund. Not every provider on Clutch carries it, so the badge is a quick way to spot the ones that do.

How do I activate the Guarantee?

You don’t need to do anything extra to activate it. If you hire a provider carrying the Clutch Guarantee badge, the Guarantee clause is already built into your contract from day one.

What does the Guarantee actually promise me?

If your engagement isn't working out in the first 14 days, you can send a written cancellation, no reason required. The provider refunds 100% of your initial project fees within 15 business days.

What if the provider doesn't honor the refund?

If a provider fails to issue your refund, you can escalate it to Clutch. We'll support you in pursuing resolution through our mediation and arbitration framework. Clutch isn't part of your contract and doesn't hold your payment, but we take non-compliance seriously and will help you get it resolved.
