What is the Clutch Certification Program?

The Certification Program highlights the diversity of service providers by allowing them to self-identify as veteran, racial minority, gender, activity, or participation-owned businesses, helping buyers connect with diverse vendors.

The goal of Clutch’s Certification Program is to highlight the diversity each service provider brings to our platform. The following certifications are available for service providers with profiles on Clutch:

  • Minority-Owned
  • Woman-Owned
  • LGBTQ-Owned
  • Veteran-Owned
  • Disability-Owned

Often, certifying bodies create barriers to entry for new business owners — we believe that we can provide a more helpful solution for both our service providers and buyers by offering the opportunity to highlight diversity on Clutch.

Benefits of Clutch Certification

For Buyers

By highlighting the diverse attributes of the service providers on Clutch, we are creating a more holistic representation of the B2B marketplace and providing buyers with in-depth knowledge about the companies they are considering partnerships with.

Historically, these companies may have faced certain disadvantages and with this program we aim to offer additional opportunities by highlighting these specific designations on their Clutch profile.

For Service Providers

Companies that are approved for the Clutch Certification Program will be featured on our specialty directories for companies that are minority-, woman-, LGBTQ-, veteran-, or disability-owned.

Approved companies are also eligible for exclusive marketing opportunities to promote their unique offerings, as well as badges that can be posted to your website so that prospective customers can see you have completed the Clutch Certification program.
