You build pricing templates in your Vendor Dashboard. Each template matches a scope of work you price consistently for your customers. Setting up your first template takes between 15 and 30 minutes of focused time, and six steps: - **Step 1: Open Pricing Templates.** Go to your Vendor Dashboard and select Pricing Templates. - **Step 2: Choose how to start.** Build a template from scratch, or upload a version of a proposal or rate sheet and edit the draft we generate from it. We sanitize every asset you upload before generating the draft review. - **Step 3: Define the scope.** Name the kind of work this template covers. The scope is what determines which briefs the template is matched to. - **Step 4: Set your range.** You set the low and high ends, and the typical price. Make sure to put a number you can realistically defend on a call to set the right expectations with buyers. - **Step 5: Write your assumptions and deliverables.** These define what the range covers, such as timeline, team, what is included and what is not. They will appear alongside your estimate for buyers to see. - **Step 6: Publish.** Once published, the template is able to generate estimates for matching Project Brief submissions. There is no limit to the number of templates you can provide Clutch.
